Ordinance 661 Consistency Rezone
The
Ordinance 661 Consistency Rezone Project involves Comprehensive Plan and
Zoning Ordinance amendments that would rezone current Ordinance 661 zoned
rural lands located in the Santa Maria Valley and San Antonio Creek rural
regions to a comparable agricultural zone district under the Land Use Development
Code (LUDC).The benefits of the consistency rezone include simplifying the
zoning and permitting process and reducing permitting costs and time delays
for applicants.
